The phone fell on the floor. The screen cracked instantly. For some reason he hoped it wouldn’t completely break. It became all blue and with a final buzz the phone declared its death. There was no hope left. No one could have used that phone again, no one could have got to know what had happened.
A guy with silver hair would have been more noticeable in an earlier decade, but not anymore. There was no hope that someone would have recognized him.
“They should make stronger cellphones these days” he thought. Then he passed out.
